Kunstroute Kyllburg

experience NATURE

discover ART

When Kunstroute Kyllburg was first installed in the Kyllburger city forest “Hahn” in 2019, hardly anyone would have thought that the response would be so great. The creative and sometimes controversial installations, which were positioned throughout the forest, invited young and old on a journey of discovery and stimulated thought.

At the moment only a few pieces from the summer of 2019 can be found, because the natural decay of the exhibits made from natural materials was factored in from the start.

But since the demand for a new art route remains high, we have decided to create something permanent. An art route not just for a summer, but something that invites you to discover and be amazed all year round.

On June 5, 2021 is the day. Then the Kunstroute Kyllburg finally starts. Ten artists will be represented with their works. The Kunstroute will take place until August 29th. Since most of the exhibits will remain in the “Hahn” permanently, a visit beyond August 29 is worthwhile.

A route booklet accompanying the Kunstroute will be published. It’s available in the “Shop-in-Shop”, Hochstrasse 9 in Kyllburg. There you will find all exhibits and their location.

Further information will be available soon here on this page.

My sculpture can last for days or a few seconds — what is important to me is the experience of making.
I leave all my work outside and often return to watch it decay.
